Millions of people throughout the world have reported Extraordinary Experiences (EEs) when mourning the deaths of their loved ones. These experiences are not associated with a psychic. Rather they are spontaneous in nature and appear to originate from an outside source. They include visions, synchronicities, hearing the deceased, sensing the presence of the loved one, visitation dreams, and various symbolic signs, to name a few.
These events have been occurring since the dawn of history and appear to be a normal phenomenon giving great comfort and insight to the bereaved. Because they can neither be proved nor disproved, little is done to show how they can be used, or accepted as a gift to be shared and discussed. They serve the spirit by causing the recipient to consider where these things come from and who controls them.
Here is what to do if you are fortunate to have the experience or are providing support for someone who shares an experience with you.
1. Rule out the obvious. It is good to be skeptical, especially if you have never had an EE before, and you wonder if it is just wishful thinking. Ask yourself if this is the kind of thing your loved one would do and decide if you have an intuitive certainty about the experience. Most important of all, did it bring you peace or feelings that love was being given? If you answer in the affirmative, then give thanks to your Higher Power, and use it to deal with your loss.
2. As soon as possible, write up the complete experience. Start with where you were and what you were doing when the event unfolded. Then, from beginning to end, go into detail and give a complete description. Be sure to include the feelings that were evoked and how you interpret the message conveyed by the experience.
3. Put a copy of your writing in a safe place where it can be passed on as part of your family history. Your EE can be a wonderful legacy to give to the next generation where it will be read and speculated about as a source of love. Put it with other important papers with a note as to its importance and meaning for you.
4. Share it with your family or close friends. In doing so, be prepared that there may be some who do not agree with your view of its meaning. Do not let that upset you. In fact, it is to be expected. You and you alone are the sole judge of your experience. You know how it felt, the timing, what it was saying, and the implications. Hold fast to your belief.
5. Use it to teach your children about the fact that love never dies. The EE brings comfort and the universal message, Im okay and you can be okay too. It is a gift of love to deal with the transition you must face. When it involves a child, make it clear that the deceased loves him or her very much. That is why the child was given the experience.
6. When you have a bad day, take out your copy of the experience and read it focusing on its meaning and the love it represents. You can leave a written copy of your experience in a drawer of your night stand to be read at any time. Use it as an inspiration and a reminder that your loved one knows whats going on and wants to see you persist in adapting to your loss.
7. Create a personal symbol that characterizes the experience that you can place in a prominent place in your home, automobile, or purse. This symbol may be a special possession you own or that belonged to your loved one. It could be a drawing, emblem, or picture that sends a particular message to you when you see it. Use it as a reminder that you are loved forever, as a motivation to reach a particular goal, or to highlight any belief that you wish to keep prominent in your thinking.
Learn all you can about Extraordinary Experiences. Much has been written about them, and there is much to study and learn about. Taking this action will not only increase your awareness but you will be educating yourself about one of the many mysteries in our universe that needs to be used as the gift it is intended to be. You will emerge with vitality and insight about a whole new phase of life.

Most people realize the importance of regularly checking their financial balance sheet, whether it’s in their business or personal life, but how many of us maintain and check our energy balance sheet? I suggest it may be at least as valuable as the financial one.
Here’s how to do it:
Observe and record for at least one week what drains your energy and what adds to your energy and well-being. Energy drainers are often those stress-producing attitudes and reactions to daily occurrences, while energy boosters are the energy-accumulating attitudes and responses.
Notice that you’re looking more at your reaction and responses to situations rather than the situations themselves, although you may find certain patterns and situation/reaction combos where a certain situation invariably and consistently leads to a reaction or response.
For example, sustained loud noise may consistently lead to an outburst of anger, while walking around in nature may consistently lead to a sense of peace and well-being.
As you pinpoint each deficit go to your heart center and ask how to turn that deficit into an asset. Commit to taking action on at least one deficit each week. Before you know it, you’ll experience a rejuvenation of energy that you can then apply to your life — your life on purpose.

Everyones life is like a thread. There is a beginning, a middle, and an end. Some threads are short, and others are very long. But all of them do end. No thread on this earth goes on forever. A person is born, lives for a time, and then dies.
And I believe relationships are the same because relationships are made of people. Every relationship is like two threads which fate brings together. They intertwine for a while, and then separate.
And they will separate. Everyone you love, will one day leave you. One day, they may stop loving you and leave you. Or one day you may stop loving them, and you will leave. But even if you both love each other and stay together, one day your loved one will die or you will die. It doesnt matter if they are your father or mother, sister or brother, friend or lover, son or daughter. One day, there will be an accident, or an earthquake, or cancer, or it will just be time to go. One day, the person you love will be gone. Or you will be gone. And you know this is true. Everyone knows this is true, somewhere inside their hearts.
But maybe you dont want this to be true. You want your life and your love to be different. Maybe you want the people you love, or the people who love you, to stay with you and live forever. You dont want to believe or accept that one day, they will be gone. You dont want to think about the endings before they come. Because maybe, inside your heart, you hope. You hope that for you or the ones you love, the ending might not come.
And so you hold on. As the ones you love are leaving you or dying, you hold on to hope. You hope that they will come back to you, or that they will stay with you for just another while. You hope that the ending will not come. And because you hold on, you suffer. Because you hope, you suffer. And you suffer because you are holding onto something which is almost gone, or already gone. Sometimes your own hope prevents you from seeing the truth.
If your friend moves to a different city, or your child grows up and moves out of the house, does that mean you stop loving them? The person may be gone, but your love for them still lives inside your heart if you let it. Anyone you have ever loved, has helped you become the person you are today. They brought you memories. They gave you joy and love, and perhaps sadness and tears as well. They showed you about life, whether they knew it or not. And because of all these things, they helped you grow, whether you know it or not. If you had never met that person, your life and yourself would have been less than it is. So if you have ever truly loved, then you have received even if they didnt really love you back. Because you loved, you lived, and your heart grew. This is how I believe love lives - if someone you love leaves you or dies, a part of them still stays inside of you.
So dont hold on to the person, who has to go. But you can hold on to the love, the love that stays inside your heart for as long as you live. Let go of the person, but keep the love. When a movie ends, you leave the theater. When a book ends, you put it down. But even though the story ends, it stays inside your heart to become a part of you.
It is hard to let go. To let go of the ones you love. To say good-bye. But behind every hello, there will be a good-bye; behind every holding on, there will have to be a letting go. And it will be easier if you remember that the threads will separate, that your story together will end. And it will probably end in a manner not of your own choosing, and at a time that you cannot foresee. Maybe that time will come in 50 years or maybe it will come tomorrow. Remember every day, that the end will come. Because I believe that if you do remember every day, you will learn how to better cherish every day the people you love in your life. Remembering will teach you how to love. Remember every day, that the person you love will die, and that you will also die and you will live and love better. Know death every day, in order to live life every day. Because I believe if you do remember every day, you will not be a person who doesnt know what they had until they lost it. Remembering every day what you can lose, and you will know every day how much you really have. Life is more beautiful and precious when you know you will die. A person is born, lives for a time, and then dies. Just like a flower.

This is Part 1 of my three part NFL Mock Draft, my opinion of how things are going to shake out. I will provide a complete First round mock, as well as a live chat in the posting forum the day of the NFL Draft and it will go through the first round. I will be there to break down all of the draft coverage and answer any questions that you have on any of the prospects. Here are my top 10 selections in the 2007 Entry draft.
1. Oakland Raiders: Calvin Johnson, Wide Receiver, Georgia Tech.
This is the pick that makes the most sense for the Raiders. Johnson is an impact player that should be able to play right away. I could see the Raiders making a play for Daunte Culpepper once he gets released from Miami. If that were to happen, this move would make a lot of sense. Culpepper would have Johnson, Moss and Jerry Porter to throw to if the offensive line can protect him.
2. Detroit Lions: Joe Thomas, Offensive Tackle, Wisconsin.
Not flashy, but I think this is the pick if the Lions dont trade down. If both QBs are still on the board I could see Minnesota making a play to move up to #2. Although I doubt the Lions would want to do a division rival any favors.
3. Cleveland Browns: Brady Quinn, Quarterback, Notre Dame.
Not saying this is the right way to go at quarterback, but I think the Browns will make Quinn their selection at No. 3
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Amobi Okoye, Defensive Tackle, Louisville.
Okoye seems to me like a perfect fit in Tampa and the admittance of marijuana use as a freshman shouldnt hurt his draft stock at all.
5. Arizona Cardinals: Jamaal Anderson, Defensive End, Arkansas.
Arizona needs help along both of their lines. If Joe Thomas falls here, I think the Cardinals would be all over him. If they want to trade down, they could make a play for Levi Jones in the back end of Round 1.
6. Washington Redskins: Gaines Adams, Defensive End, Clemson.
Adams could be very dominant and would fit well in Washington under Gregg Williams and his blitzing schemes.
7. Minnesota Vikings: JaMarcus Russell, Quarterback, LSU
Russell reminds me a lot of Daunte Culpepper with his size and enormous arm strength. If he falls to Minnesota at seven, the Vikings have to grab him.
8. Atlanta Falcons (from Texans): LaRon Landry, Safety, LSU.
Atlanta needs a playmaking safety and this is the guy that can be that for the Falcons.
9. Miami Dolphins: Dwayne Bowe, Wide Receiver, LSU.
Playmaking receiver that will fit in well under new head coach Cam Cameron.
10. Houston Texans (from Falcons): Adrian Peterson, Running Back, Oklahoma.
This would be ideal for the Texans as Peterson could come in and start right away and make the Texans fans forget that they couldve had Reggie Bush.

Small business accounting software reviews mainly focus on contents of profit and loss account. It is also known by several other titles such as income statement, statement of earnings, statement of operations and profit and loss statement. While the balance sheet, as a stock/position statement, reveals the financial condition of a business at a particular point of time, the profit and loss account portrays, as a flow statement, the operations over/during a particular period of time. The period of time is an accounting period.
Since the purpose of every business firm is to earn profit, the operations of a firm in a given period of time will truly be reflected in the profit earned by it. Thus, the income statement/profit and loss account of a firm reports the results of operations in terms of income/net profit in a year. The profit and loss account can be presented broadly in two forms: the usual account form and step form.
In operational terms, the accounting report that summarizes the revenue items, the expense items and the difference between them (net income) for an accounting period is called the income statement. There are three contents of the profit and loss account: revenues, expenses and net income/profit/loss.
Revenues can be defined as the income that accrues to the firm by the sale of goods/services/assets or by the supply of the firms resources to others. Alternatively, revenues mean the value that a firm receives from its customers. The value/income can arise from three sources: sale of products/goods/services, supply of firm resources to others, and sale of assets like production plants, investments, and so on. The cost of earning revenue is called expenses. An important item of expense appearing in the profit and loss account is the cost of goods sold. The difference between revenues and expenses is net profit. The profit and loss account may also show the appropriation of the net profits between dividends paid to the shareholders and retained earnings/ amount transferred to reserves and surplus.

If you have recently lost health insurance coverage through your employer from voluntarily or invulnerably termination of employment (excluding reasons of gross misconduct), you and your dependents may be eligible to continue your coverage under COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act). Understanding the basics of how COBRA works and what your options are, can help you make better choices with less stress.
Contrary to popular belief, COBRA is not a separate insurance company or policy provided by the government. It is a ruling by our government allowing you or your dependents to purchase the same health insurance policy you have been receiving back from your company.
If your employer has more than 20 full-time employees, they are required to notify you and your dependents within 14 days from the date of your termination of your rights under COBRA.
You then have 60 days to notify your employer if you wish to continue your coverage. After you notify your employer, you then have another 45 day grace period to pay your premiums.
Many people make the mistake of either signing up right away out of fear of not having insurance or looking at the cost and immediately waiving coverage. The cost can be intimidating, as the rates are expensive, up to 102% of the actual cost that the employer paid for your coverage.
Before you make any hasty decisions, take into consideration the following two questions. Do you think you will be covered under another policy within 60 days? Or, are you or a covered dependent currently being treated for a medical condition?
If you think you will have coverage within 60 days, save yourself some money and do not immediately sign up for COBRA. However, do not waive your option. Remember you have 60 days to decide; you do not have to decide immediately. If during this time, all you have is a forty dollar claim, the forty dollars may be a whole lot cheaper than the price of the full premium. During these 60 days, if you were hospitalized for major surgery, you would still be able to immediately elect back your coverage to the day you lost it. If you were too hasty and waived your option, you might still be able revoke your waiver, but your insurance might only be reinstated from the date you revoked it, and not to the date you lost coverage. You have nothing to lose by waiting the 60 days to decide.
If you are unsure if you will have coverage in 60 days, yet you have no ongoing medical or pre-existing conditions, you can still hold out on electing COBRA, in the chance that a new policy soon becomes available. (There are many individual policies on the market that may prove to be a more affordable alternative if you are in good health). If after 60 days you still have not found coverage, go ahead and elect COBRA, keeping in mind that you have yet another 45 day grace period to pay your premiums. If you become covered under another plan within the next 45 days, just notify the COBRA administrator that you have found other coverage, and cancel your election. You will have saved yourself a ton of money. If a medical emergency comes up in that 45 day grace period, just pay your premium in full, and you coverage will be reinstated to the date that you lost it.
Additionally, if you or a covered dependent are currently being treated for a medical condition, you might be subject to a pre-existing condition clause under a new policy. However, under the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), if you do not have a lapse in coverage for more than 63 days and your new plan covers your condition, the new policy will have to give you credit for each month you were previously covered under your old policy towards their exclusion period. This could reduce or eliminate the exclusion period entirely.
For example, say you are diabetic and have been covered under your previous policy for 12 months. You terminate your employment and decide not to immediately elect COBRA. You then become eligible to participate in a new plan that covers diabetes; however the new plan has a pre-existing condition clause that states that you must wait 12 months before you can make a claim for this condition. All you have to do is present the new plan administrator with the HIPAA certificate, which you will have received from your former employer showing that you have been covered for this condition for 12 months. If you have not had a break in coverage of more than 63 days, the new insurance company will have to waive the entire 12 month pre-existing period and your claims for this condition will be covered.
If only one member of your family has a medical condition and you must opt for COBRA for that member, keep in mind that you do not have to elect COBRA for the entire family. Sometimes it is cheaper to elect COBRA for one member and find an individual policy for the remaining members.
Being without employment or starting a new job is a stressful period. Understanding your options can help take the load off.

Grilling out during the summer season is fun. But a stain in the fabric will take away all the fun. It cannot be avoided because the foods that are loved most are liable to cause stain. There are often many ingredients in barbecue sauces that stain fabrics and carpeting. Do not worry that the favorite shirt or carpet is spoiled.
Be quick to clean them up because waiting for a long time with the Barbecue Stain will make it harder to remove. Speed is the key to quick removal of stain from any material. That does not mean it cannot be removed otherwise, but the chances for removal will be better when acted quickly. When it is not done immediately, keeping the stained article wet will prevent the stain from setting into the fibers.
Immediate response after staining the fabric would be to remove the excess sauce from it. When the stain is still wet, gently blot it with a clean paper towel. If the stain is dry, remove the excess sauce as much as possible with the dull edge of a butter knife or a brush or a comb. Run cold water under high pressure on the back side of the stained area.
This will force the stain to come out. Pour some liquid detergent on the stained area, fold the stained area on itself, and gently rub the fabric together. This will loosen the sauce from the fabric. Allow the detergent to sit for few minutes, repeat and then rinse. If the stain has faded, continue to repeat the same procedure until the stain is gone, and then wash the garment normally. Do not dry the fabric in the dryer.
Specialized stain removing products can also be used. They come in small bottles with applicator brushes, pads, sprays and nozzles. Read the instructions carefully and make sure it does not harm the fabric. After using the product, launder it normally.
If the fabric is white and bleach-safe, washing machine can be used to remove the Barbecue Stains. Set the washing machine to the lowest load setting, add a product containing bleach, fill the machine with water and then stop it. Soak the fabric in the washing machine for several hours, if possible, all day and then run the machine through the wash cycle. Instead of using a bleach product, hydrogen peroxide, white vinegar, or lemon juice can also be used as a bleaching agent.
If the stain still persists, sprinkle some baking soda on the spill and then some white vinegar. Baking soda will cause the vinegar to fizz and push the stain up to the surface. Now blot it out with a clean paper towel or use a wet-vacuum cleaner.
If removing stain from the carpets is difficult, rent a carpet shampooer from the local home improvement store or call a professional carpet cleaner to finish the battle. Sometimes, it may prove to be a bit difficult to remove the Barbecue Stain from the clothing or carpet completely because some of the ingredients in the barbecue sauce may cause it to be permanent.

Suicide is the one form of death that has quite a stigma attached to it. It brings with it a feeling of shame and betrayal. It is not the same as saying to someone “My father died in a car crash” nor is it the same as saying someone died from a heart attack. Having to explain that someone took their own life can be quite a difficult thing to do as we have no explanation as to why this dreadful occurance took place.
Suicide amongst young men is currently growing quite significantly around the world and I hope that by reading my poem and my newly published book “From Those Death Left Behind” that people can see the effects that suicide has on the family and friends that are left behind to deal with the loss and pain.
I have dedicated my poem “Suicide” below, to the memory of my father the late James Evans who sadly took his own life on the 29th October 1990. May his soul find eternal peace.
Suicide
The power to supress
The pain and the loss
The tears and the saddness
The grief inside
Lying there
Dormant
Sleep please, oh sleep
The memories suppressed
No power to deal
With the pain that you caused
The gap no one can fill
Your selfish act
Leaves me broken
Afraid to love
Afraid to live
Through suppression I survive
Suicide not only killed you

“Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.” - Franklin P. Jones
Becoming an entrepreneur is about taking an idea and making a successful business from the sale of the idea. If the idea is a product, the sale of the product will require more than simple creativity and innovation.
An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field. Niels Bohr
In the 1980s a father in Wyoming created a product for his daughter to play with. The invention consisted of a wheel that was roughly the size of a toy wagon wheel. A separate pole with a stabilizing device attached was used to keep the wheel upright and balanced. This invention provided hours of amusement for his daughter, but when he tried to develop a business selling the product he discovered there was absolutely no market for it. This same gentleman also attempted to prove the viability of the manufacture of cement brickettes as a cost effective substitute for lava rocks in gas grills. He rejected the idea when after a few grillings the cement literally exploded causing the destruction of his grill as well as a steak dinner.
The above is an example of a couple of failures in entrepreneurialism. Consider the above glimpse as an argument for marketing research and testing.
Strong people make as many mistakes as weak people. Difference is that strong people admit their mistakes, laugh at them, learn from them. That is how they become strong. Richard Needham
The perfect entrepreneurial scenario would be to provide a solution to an underserved market where demand exceeds existing supply or to be the first to meet an emerging demand. In either case there needs to be a significant amount of market research to determine the longevity of anticipated demand along with the reliability of the solution you are offering.
Imagine if the cement brickettes were marketed and sold only to have the flaw discovered when someone was injured from cement shrapnel.
So much goes into the development of a business idea and you have to have a solid business plan in mind in order to get funding. It only makes sense to be sure you have completed all the needed research to assure both your banker as well as yourself that the product or service you are offering will provide benefits that will meet demands and provide success for all involved.

There is something really fascinating about kitchen appliances, and we can spend hours wandering aimlessly between the stoves, dishwashers and other delights of an appliance store. There are an amazing range of appliances now available both in stores and online, although how many of them fit into the average kitchen budget is quite another matter.
The height of fashion in recent kitchen appliances is stainless steel. Traditionally the material for kitchen sinks, most appliances are now available in stainless steel. The classy silvery look is clean and sleek, matches virtually any style of dcor and is a very practical hygienic alternative to wood or other materials. One particularly great piece on the market is the stainless steel refrigerator and freezer with French doors. The doors offer the sophistication of side by side refrigerators, combined with the practicality of a freezer underneath. This arrangement limits strain on the back when reaching into the refrigerator. These cost between two and three thousand dollars and are now available with an integral television screen, ideal for those who like to spend time in the kitchen.
At present there are an incredible range of stoves on the market. Many people now prefer electric as gas stoves can be more dangerous, particularly in properties with young children. In addition the luxury of not having to clean the burner pans of a gas stove will be appreciated by all. Extras available with many electric stoves include places for griddles or grills and radiant cook tops. Some even offer a Sabbath setting that allows you to keep food warm after it is cooked.
Developments in dishwashers in recent years have seen new functionality being added all the time. Some have a time delay feature so the machine can start working while you are at work, or during the night, perhaps to take advantage of cheaper electricity. Another feature is an adjustable top shelf that can hang in any direction to make the best use of the space in your dishwasher. Additional shelves have been added to many machines to allow you to wash more items at the same time, without having to stack them on top of one another and risk breakages in effective washing.
So can you afford your dream appliances without blowing your budget? Firstly you should check for dented or slightly damaged appliances; some suppliers have specific stores stocking purely damaged goods. In this way you can pick up a branded appliance for half the normal price. You could also look for unmarked brands, which will often be made by the same manufacturer and be available in similar models, but without the designer name to inflate the asking price. Be patient and shop around to find the perfect appliance at reasonable prices. Wait for stores to have their seasonal offers and see what bargains you can snap up then. Whenever you are buying an appliance, you need to consider performance as well as looks and style. Check online to see what other customers have to say about the appliance to be sure it is worth the money you are spending on it.
